The following information is intended to help you with your planning and fundraising efforts. For full details about OCY’s package and pilgrimage plans, please click on the links below. Registration for the OCY led pilgrimage is now closed. Formation days are open to all pilgrims with prior registration.

This will be our final gathering before we head for Australia. Commissioning, fiinal updates, and the nitty-gritty on what to pack and what to expect! Dinner will be provided.

Following up on our WYD 2008 experience, we will wrap up our program and look ahead, exploring opportunities to be God’s witnesses in our daily lives.

Days in the Dioceses: cultural exchange, encounter with local Church community,
visits to local sites of interest, social service projects

Opening Mass of welcome celebrated by George Cardinal Pell, followed by concert

July 16 – 18
Catechesis (teaching) every morning and festival events in afternoon evening

July 17
Arrival and welcome of the Holy Father

July 18
Stations of the Cross

July 19
Pilgrimage walk to site of Closing Mass, evening Vigil with the Holy Father

July 20
Closing Mass and concluding events
